Service/Repair Manual

Anyone know where to purchase a BMW E70 PDF or printed service/repair manual. Only offerings I have found fall far short of the Bentley manuals I have.

I don't mind paying if it is like the Bentley manual for other BMWs, pretty much a reprint of the manual used by dealer techs.

I have looked at the Newtis site. If it is the only option I guess I could use it though there is too much drilling down to find what is needed, really not much information when I finally get there. I'm spoiled by the Bentley manuals.

Once BMW went to digital service manuals (aka "TIS") Bently stopped copying them in book form. At least that is my impression

The links above are for the older X5 (E53)...nothing on the E70 or F15 versions... (although i havent checked recently...)

Agree the learning curve on newtis is steep. And there is nothing like a dog earred, grease stained book with post-its and hand written notes.

I’ve always said, “something is better than nothing”.

Especially when it’s free.
