Locating Motion Sensor
 

Brought 2011 X5 35d to dealer since motion sensor was getting triggered for no apparent reason and at the same time draining the battery completely.

Battery is new so it isn’t the battery.

They hooked car up to sensors for a few days and the motion sensor was triggered eight times. They just told me to double tap lock button to resolve the issue.

This is a complete pain in the ass to do every time I need to lock the car. And I can’t consistently get the motion sensor to deactivate with key fob.

Is there any way to remove a fuse or unplug this motion sensor?

I’ve searched endlessly to figure out where the location of this is with no success.
