Does E70 x5 4.8l have an integrated supply module
Does this part exist on the 4.8l e70 x5?

Sigh.
https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...-module-2.html I find it impossible to believe you have not already discovered www.newtis.info. Why not just look up stuff there?? Look up IVM (whatever that is) or 'integrated supply module'.... |

People who have no interest in helpng themselves shouldn't expect others to provide the answers they want to hear. They shouldn't be surprised either. Or they can just get pissy about it. Their choice. |
I’m convinced! Got my X5 back from Phaedrus of San Francisco. They too have determined that the dme needs to be replaced and reprogrammed. Initially, I didn’t believe what BMW had said, especially when they charged me over $500 to replace a negative battery cable that wasn’t even the problem. In any case, I’m sure you know what it’ll end up costing me to fix it. But thankfully, I’ve got connections through a nearby auto dismantling shop and they happen to have a dme, cas, and key combo from the same year x5 like mine. My cost is $280 and they’re willing to let me determine whether it’s plug and play-able. I think this would be good info so stay tuned.

FWIW, I believe you'll find the X5 will refuse to shift into gear with the new cas/dme/key swapped in as the transmission is also authenticated to the CAS.
