EGR Valve Adaptation - necessary?
 

Hello,

I just replaced the EGR valve on my 2013 Diesel to take care of a CEL. I didn't realize I had to perform an EGR valve adaptation until I saw the option on my Foxwell NT530 scanner.

1) Is this a necessary procedure? Have folks who have replaced the EGR valve or cleaned it performed it?

2) I still have my old EGR. Can I still do it if or is it too late?

Any guidance is appreciated.
