Need some guidence for lvds cable replacement
 

So I was told that the LVDS cable for my rear camera on my 07 e70 was bad. I bought a cable, but not sure if the cable runs from the camera directly to the head unit, or does it go from a control unit somewhere? I'd love to know before I rip into the truck. I have a CCC system if that matters at all and it's all stock. Thanks!

It depends on the options your car has. An example being, if you have a dvd changer in the glovebox, the cable will run to a passave splitter under the steering column. Rear seat entertainment may also change the routing. You can check wiring diagrams here.
