massive oil leak under pressure

Drivers's side, hard to see exactly where a massive oil leak is coming from.
Assuming, oil piping from block to oil cooler. Not even sure how to get at it if its so.

Anyone have a exploded view of the engine with oil piping?
Or work method to remove and replace?

RealOEM.com

also newtis.info (not sure if this is free now)

Helps to mention motor, year, mileage and age..FWIW

its a E70 2009 4.8i. 105k miles

I've checked RealOEM, it just has pictures of the piping, no relationship to how it attaches to the engine.

Did you get it sorted ?
I have had the same problem in the past and it was the oil thermostat leaking.
As the engine speed increases so does oil pressure and the oil blasts out through the leak all over that side of the engine bay and the exhaust.
That left a huge plume of smoke behind the car and I lost over 3.5 litres of oil in about 20 miles till I could get to the a service station.
I purchase 5 liters of 10w40 filled it back to the full level and slowly set off for home 50 miles away.
I kept the engine speed below 1500rpm and halfway home tipped the rest of the oil in. When I got home I had about 4 liters left in the sump.
I had recently replaced a leaking valve cover gasket and had wrongly assumed
the vcg to be my only leak, I did'nt think to check the oil thermostat.
I almost destroyed my engine.
