Yes, they are vacuum controlled. When I changed mine there was a little over 1" height difference from the mounts collapsing on the inside. This caused the vibration issues I was having at the time.

So is this operation something that you can visually inspect? In other words, should I be able to see some movement of the mount itself when the engine RPM increases above the 900 rpm threshold, or during start-up or shut down? |
