Replacing rear springs 2013 X5

Hey guys, I could use a bit of guidance.

What is all involved with replacing rear coil springs on my 2013 BMW X5?

It currently has 2 broken springs.

I've tried searching and there is lots of info on swapping from airbag to coils, but I can't find anything on a coil to coil swap.

Is it simply a matter of compressing the broken springs, removing and replacing?

Is there anything else I need to remove to be able to swap the springs?

Will I need an alignment if I'm not touching anything in the front end?

Thanks

I get an alignment anytime I mess around with suspension parts, but I'm over cautious like that, beats buying new tires. I haven't done my rear, only the front.
The YouTube video shows a conversion, but the only difference is you will have to expand the the control arm more to get the old coil out, he didn't have to do it until he put the new coil in.
I'd also replace the pads at the top and bottom of your coils, depending on your road conditions and mileage

Yes, do an alignment. $99. NBD

Dont think the rear needs compression, but Ive not done it on the X5. anyone confirm?

Id replace all the rubber bits and bobs. Bump stop, spring perch, etc. realoem.com/bmw for part numbers

Alignment is a must after a suspension work. My motto is alignment is much cheaper than tires. :)
Especially the 315/35/20s aren't cheap for me.

That brings up a question I haven't been able to get a straight answer on where do you guys get the best bang for the buck 4 wheel alignment? I live in Ct.
I have an 85k E70 35ix LCI
I just replaced both front struts [everything top to bottom. I have cupping going on and need to have it aligned. Town Fair Tire is one of the places they recommend round here. Any good, bad or indifferent experience with them? Any other suggestions?
TIA!
