Exhaust Rattle
 

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2013 X5 35i. I bought it with 49k miles, and I absolutely love the car so far. However, I've run into one strange issue. Sometimes when i'm idling, I can hear a rattling/hissing noise coming from the exhaust intermittently.I work for BMW and I had one of the techs look at it, and he thought it might be an exhaust leak. I went to a local shop near me that specializes in exhaust, and they said that the cats were fine, and the exhaust had no leak. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is, so if anyone has had a similar issue and knows how to resolve it please chime in...

No such experience, but I do despise rattles, so I'll be watching this with interest.
