Phone pairings

Can you not pair more than one phone at a time and time in a 2013 BMW X5 LCI???!!

I have 2 phones 1 for work one personal. Every time I get in my vehicle I have to pair one or the other to Bluetooth.. Can I not have more than 1 phone paired???!

You can have more than one phone paired, but only one will take priority if they are both in the car at the same time.

Phone 1 will be the only one to make and receive calls, if it is in the car with any other paired phone.

Phone 2 will only make and receive calls if it is the only phone in the car.

Pairing registered the phone with the car, you can pair several phones. Starting at the top of the list, each device is checked and the first one to connect wins. Only one active phone at a time.

Can you have one phone connected/paired for audio and a second phone connected/paired for calls??

Agree you can have multiple phones 'paired', but only one 'connected' for a given audio function....but wondering if you can 'split' the two functions between phones
