X5 d Oil return line replacement
 

Is there any method to replacing this hose (11427795976) without pulling the turbo?

Perhaps from under the vehicle, with the stiffening plate removed it is very visible.

It is Only held with two hose clamps.

It doesn't look like it would be easy. Access will be blocked by a lot of things. Subframe, engine mount arm, DPF is generally in the area.

Give it a quick look though and see how close you can get to it. Fortunately it's in front of the DPF so you might have at least a hope. Look just above the RHS engine arm at the block. Good luck.

Yep set vehicle up on the ramps tonight. The weather has been crazy hot these last few days, tomorrow will be cooler for some investigating

So the line is very accessible from below… before Anything I checked the clamps . The one towards the tire was very loose!

Tightened it up and called it a day or till I check on it again.
