Does it matter the orientation of the V-Band?
 

Forgot how the stock one was oriented, installed my DP… however through receiving a pre crushed gasket from an amazon seller, I resorted to using my old gasket which was better then the one I received in the mail ( in fedex mailer, gasket was not in a baggie or any kind) so ultimately I now have an exhaust leak.

Learned my lesson and ordered a new vband and gasket from FCPeuro and wondered if the v band mattered in direction and if so I don’t have reference to how the original was placed, any guidance?
