Need help with Part # for driveshaft U-joint
 

Needing some help hunting down a part number.

The wife said there was a chirping sound in the front end so I took it for a drive to confirm the CV axle was bad. The chirping is definitely coming from the right front so that CV joint has decided to call it quits.

The other problem she didn't mention is there is an inconsistent vibration when taking off up to around 25-30mph. It's doesn't happen all the time, but I feel it right below me under load only.

I crawled underneath and when I grab the front driveshaft I'm able to wiggle the end that slips into the front diff. There shouldn't be any play so it seems the front u-joint has checked out as well. That said, I'm not able to find a part on FCPeuro to replace just the joint as they sell the complete driveshaft assembly only.

Anyone have a part number for the u-joint on the front shaft? Thanks!

Somebody on another board(?) found that the UJs are a unique "size" but he was able to source replacements at a John Deere Tractor dealership as they were the same size as those on the PTO shaft drive. I think Case also carried something that fits. Weird, right?

It figures they would be an oddball size. I'm shocked they only want to sell the complete shaft, but I'll check with the local JD dealer a out them after I press one out. Thanks!!
