Paint correction on black 08 x5
 

Has anyone done paint correction on their E70? If so what was the cost? My X5 isn't a garage queen, but I would like to get rid of those clear coat scratches, some of them are deeper than others. Also, last year a carwash gave some minor, but deeper scratches, not crazy, but enough to be visible upon closer look.

When I do mine, it is generally a two day affair- 4-6 hrs per day. A pro could halve that, using a buffer to cut faster. (I use an RO- I tend to go lightly, stop when I get where I want it, so many passes.)


I bet it will range from 300-2000.

Recently did our E70. Also a 2 day affair. Added ceramic coating the following weekend.

A cut/buff paint correction at a pro would depend on the market pricing in your area. Here in S. Texas, you can get a decent pro to do it for ~$500. Without ceramic coating obviously. If you add ceramic then price is $1200-2000.
