The Pressure converter under the intake has just been replaced and no dice there.
I have a new LP EGR in my hand and ready to swap it out. My question for you sir is... Is it doable for DYI guy? Do I have access to the nuts and bolts? I'm bit concerning.

Thank you again for your expert advise.

I haven't had the pleasure of changing the LP EGR. It seems awkward to reach.

Been a while - refresh my memory banks - you confirmed variable vacuum at the vacuum connection to the LP EGR, correct? Just want to make sure the hoses between the pressure converter under the intake to the LP-EGR actuator are not rotten.

Be sure to note how any EGR linkages are connected in terms of adjusted position before you remove the EGR actuator. Take a bunch of pre-op pictures. My 2 cents.

Not sure if the LP EGR has linkages but keep that in mind. One thing to really be careful of is the vacuum nipple on the LP EGR actuator. The vacuum hose hose will have fused to the nipple and the nipple will be brittle. If it breaks you could fix with some brass rod and JB high temp weld.

Thank you for all the good advice and words of wisdom.

I went ahead and replaced the LP EGR cooler plus the EGR Valve #11717807928.
What a bitch pardon my language is to replace. So far this has to be one of the top 5 Pain In the Ass jobs I've ever have to deal with.

Unfortunately, and to my let down the problem is still there. Palmface!:banghead:

I looked at the vacuum hoses under the intake, they were all appear to be okay but never checked them with a vacuum gauge.

ISTA+

I think you need to get ISTA+ to troubleshoot or concede defeat and take it in for service.

You have new EGR coolers, one of which needed to be changed (broken spring), so that is good.

Not yet. I'm going to check the signal to the EGR Valve and perhaps check the vacuum reading that feed the valve.

Taking a break at the moment.
