Solved: Can't add AHMU module to VO for trailer?

I've installed my hitch and wiring, and went in to do the coding, but I'm hitting a roadblock trying to get the AHMU module added. In NCS Expert, I open the expert profile, get my VIN in, and then use Enter FA to try to add it to my VO. I select the e70 chassis, but in the Enter FA list, there is no +AHMU listed. If I look in the DATEN folder in NCS Expert for E70, there is a AHM_E70.C10 file and a AHM_E70.C11 file, but I don't know how to get to them from the Enter FA options in NCS Expert.

The values I have available are:

Any idea if one of these is what I need? Or am I somehow not pointed to the correct daten files?

If you are referring to the list of option codes below the Add button, those are the codes that are already in the VO.

You need to enter +AHMU in the Feature box, then select Add.

Thanks - I'll give that a try! I had thought that the text box was just a way to filter the options in the list below, but since that was a complete dead-end, I like your way better!

And this may be a longshot, but I've seen a list of parameters that need to be changed in several places, but none with explanation of what each does, and, in particular, which ones may only be needed for the European-style motorized swing-out hitch. Do you know what the significance of these are (apart from the backup camera one, which I noted, below)?

I have no idea if that add'l coding is required. I would:
  • add +AHMU to the VO
  • default code FRM and CAS modules to the new VO
  • check for functionality
  • consider the add'l coding

Finished installing my brake controller today and went out to at least make the connection with the trailer to see if things were working, and everything seems to be working as expected, using the coding above:
1. When the trailer is attached (pigtail) and I'm in reverse, there are no beeping proximity sensors
2. The backup camera shows an icon for the hitch on the right side of the iDrive screen for the "zoom in on the hitch" view. Unlike everything else that appears there, you can't activate it by either clicking with the iDrive controller or pushing it to the right; instead, rotate it clockwise to move down to the corresponding hitch value in the items on the left side of the display and click to get to hitch view
3. Brake lights and turn signals work
4. The brake controller recognizes being hooked up to the trailer

I'm still adjusting my weight-distribution hitch, so didn't actually try it out with the brake controller (opted for a Tekonsha 90920, with the "dash" component mounted in the rear of the car by the trailer wiring for now, using the Bluetooth app to make adjustments as needed), and I'm not sure how I can safely test to see how the stability control incorporates the motion of the trailer, but at least things appear to be working correctly with the coding above.
