Misfire Cylinder 6 only when engine is hot
 

Hello,

I recently got misfires on cylinder 6, only when the engine is hot. I suppose the routine is to change the spark plugs, and possibly coils. I am wondering if anyone out there has more they can share and help.

When only one cylinder the prime suspect is the coil. Swap a couple see if the problem moves.

Thanks Andrew for the reply. The issue has been resolved by changing out the ignition coil. Thankful it is not the fuel injector or fuel pressure as suggested on the internet.

Yeah my wife's 535 had symptoms that could be fuel injector, or damaged piston rings but turned out to be the coil. It came apart in 100 pieces and the boot tore off on the plug and took over an hour to cut up with a drill bit in a long screwdriver.
