I wasn't aware the n52 also has the belt ingestion problem.

Mine tried but i caught it fast enough only the main seal damaged and i was able to get a tool to pull the old seal and replace it. Smoke test will confirm if the seal is blown.

Did you get a check engine light too

Serpentine belt

very much so! If the seal on the front of our room is torn it vents to the crackcase

So my indy tech gave the car a once over and changed the tensioner and cleaned out all the pulleys and thankfully the crank seal was not damaged
But now i am still getting the P112F and P0171 code, when i start the car it revs and little high for a few seconds but settles, there is also a occasional slight hesitation
Any ideas what i should check

0171 is intake leak i think. Smoke test best fix. However here's a decent overview of problems related to your errors:

https://carolinasbmwmoa.org/how-do-i...mw-p112f-code/

I had a slew of errors related to intake pressures on my n55 motor and there is a TSB to recover i don't know if it applies to n52 but I'd try it if it was my car.

You can look through the tsb for your error and engine see if there's a known issue.

I saw one post said guy had your error and cleaning the purge valve resolved the issue.
