Need help plz 🙏. Power management issue
Hello members. I’m experiencing an issue after getting this vehicle road worthy
BMW X5 4.8 2009 /Just figured out ISTA and scanned for fault codes, got this: CDA2 (power management, battery voltage 0x3B4) faulty, receiver DME, transmitter CAS/PM. CDA3 (power management, battery voltage 0x334) faulty, receiver DME, transmitter 2F80 DME: System time, plausibility + Whenever i try to check on service function tab > voltage supply > evaluating the battery state of charge it shows the following: Engine control cannot recognize IBS. This may be due the following cause: .IBS supply interrupted .BSD between DME/DDE and IBS (open circuit, short circuit, loose contact) I keep getting a check engine light because of this. Anyone had this issue before? |
Just a perfectly fine X5 one day started throwing these errors one day?
Or is this the one you are mixing and matching DME, cluster, CAS, cluster, tcm, etc etc? |
Different x5.
Another x5. This one came to me with a bad waterpump and same 3 codes.
2f80 Cda2 Cda3 I replaced the waterpump and thermostat and diving in to troubleshoot these codes. Any help would be appreciated. It seems like something with the bsd bus line? |
IBS unplugged?
