SemiOT, but I see that old "pic" is from Automobile Mag...

I subscribed to them from nearly Day One, when David E. Davis started it, ( I had met him a few times and was always impressed with his knowledge, style and poke-at-'em methods), but I had recently let the
sub. expire to reduce our large monthly periodical intake.

They, the mag, must be on a campaign, as they have called me nightly for the past week offering lower and lower annual pricing to re-sub. The last pitch was a year's sub at like 7 bucks...

I finally pointed out that I'm on the freakin no call list, (which works well), and even though I used to have a "biz relationship" as a subscriber, I no longer wish to subscribe and quit fookin calling me every night at 6:30.

NEway, the mag had lost it's kick for me, the new format/style was hurtful to these old eyes, Jean Lindamood has become the Aunt Bee of motor mags, etc. It was no longer my desire.
