New Spy Video

Hey guys, Edmunds has a new spy video on their website. It's interesting to see the E70 in motion. The video shows some pretty cool angles that give the truck a new perspective.

One spooky thing, though! You'll notice that those cool wheels we've all seen in the spy pics appear to be still while the vehicle moves (a la those chrome wheels that are so pupular nowadays). I wonder if the BMW folks have ever noticed the effect.

Click below to watch the video.

Cool . Seems like the spy pics we have and this video were shot at the same time. Intentional leak?

Now you can see the new baby in motion. Very graceful. You like?

The proportions can be see better so you can get better image of the car's stance.

When the production car hits the road you'll see it is really aggressive looking. Much more than E53.

FEP phases ended a few days ago, development project is closed. Now the marketing guy have to do their work. And every time after FEP phases BMW leave their new cars unprotected in public places - usually in the places where a lot of spy photographers are moving around - so the detailed pics surely hit the media just before official press release. In this way we create public interest & buzz - a nice introduction into official marketing activities & campaigns.

Why not publish some pictures of the new X70's with some nekkid women? You'd get my undivided attention... ;)

My dealer told me today that THEY'VE been told by BMW NOT to believe ANY of the spyshots out on the internet... that they were ALL wrong, and possibly even decoys. We'll find out soon enough. :dunno:

I was told the exact same thing. My guy said that the spy shots aren't even close to what it really looks like which is hopefully the case because the pictures look more like facelifts than anything else they almost look like an X3 . . . but like you said - we'll see.

That stylin' is lamo. The 3 series looks so much stronger and muscular than this. The 5 series has grown on me over the last 2 years, but this is a very poor execution of a truck... I will take my E53 thank you BMW.
