Availability?

Anyone have an idea as to when we can expect the first US deliveries of the new X5 to occur?

I wouldn't buy a early production car...

I will not as I have had experience with early production vehicles (BMW and others).

A more relevant question (which admittedly I should have thought of when I made my original post) is when will the sport model (the equivalent of the current 4.8is) be available?
