Dear BMW...

Dear BMW, if you are reading this forum, please bring the 3.0 diesel fast. I can not simply undretsand why it is taking BMW so long to bring your outstanding 3.0 D engine. If MBUSA can do it with my W211 CDI 2005, surely you can too. Also, please do not give me anymore baloney regarding ULSD and EPA reg's. Follow MB's lead with blutech and NOx/particulate matter issues and you will have a homerun. I want to buy the new X5 , but can not justify the cost of petrol personally with the amount of driving I do.

Does the MB meet California emissions standards? I know BMW said that they will not import a diesel until theirs can meet the California emissions standards, which supposedly is going to be in 2008.

The MB does not meet CA standards.
