Centre of dashboard, under the RH air vent ???

Press the button and out pop Cupholders ?

Most here think it's the release for the glove compartment.

Good thinking - I didn't think of that ! - Doh !

Interior pics make it hard to even see a cutout for the glovebox at all !
(I wonder where it is - just the wood panel ?)
