2007 X5 (E70) Official Pricing!

I give all credit to Jon at Bimmerfest for this. Thanks Jon!

2007 X5 Pricing

EDIT: This list was posted here on xoutpost.com before it was on B'Fest but it got lost. Props to the OP. We are used to Jon posting these things. There is actually a post on B'Fest referencing the price list being posted on X5world first. :D

EDIT: DAMN!!! The E70 is going to be expensive! I just did a quick pricing of a 3.0si with Premium, Sport, Rear Climate, Cold Weather, Technology, and ventilated seats and it's $60,000 before destination charge! I didn't spec many other cool options either. :yikes:

Kewl X5 10-05-2006 03:24 AM

Thanks for the price list!! Also, you can't write off the SUV like we did in the past.

MichX5 10-05-2006 03:25 AM

Wonder what it's gonna lease for typical 36 month lease?

what do you mean 'write off'? if you own a business... you can still purchase the vehicle as a business expense.

MichX5 10-05-2006 09:10 AM

Absolutely

He's referring to the former Section 179 tax deduction where you can depreciate the vehicle up to 60% and write that off. It was pretty sweet while it lasted. While meant for businesses that had to buy trucks, many doctors, lawyers, real estate people, etc, were buying Escalades, LX470's, and X5's and taking advantage of 179.

marcx5 10-05-2006 01:39 PM

you can still buy an x5 and allocate a certain percentage for business and write that off through depreciation. right?? 80% is acceptable if that's how you use it.

X5JDX 10-05-2006 06:58 PM

Any details on UK options list (with price) yet?

X5Flyboy 12-02-2006 03:34 AM

I'm still waiting for the diesel, though right now I would be hard pressed to even think about giving up either of my 4.4s.

you could write off 100% (if it's 100% business use) up to $102,000. now it's limited to $25,000 immediate deduction, which is still far better than the luxury auto limitations. of course, there are creative ways around those....

Australian brochure & price list have just come out: I'll scan and post later in the week (have to go and pick up my new toy tomorrow, R1200RT  ).

X5 3.0si $A85,000
X5 3.0d $A86,800
X5 3.0d Executive $A96,300
X5 4.8i $A118,300

Currently that would give $US92k for the 4.8i and about $US67k for the diesel.

All plus on-road costs, eg dealer delivery, stamp duty, etc, etc: and optional extras :dunno:
