the one in a million problem
 

So, my awful x5 finally got a look over by the BMW reps to figure out just what was wrong with it...

turns out when they assembled it, the air pump that pumps the fumes out of the engine when it starts was pumping the fumes right back into the engine instead of out the exhaust...

i just hope that this screw up by BMW hasnt done anything to degrade my engine quicker or anything...
