Production of the new X5 starting on december!
talked to my sales person yesterday to order the new X5 and he says it is been delayed starting december:confused:
|
Hmmm, interesting.
A friend was at spartanburg for one of those track day things a few weeks ago and spoke with one of the BMW test engineers(?) there, anyway, he said that some major fault was noticed following the production of the first 50 E70's off the production line and all 50 had been trashed. Don't know if this is a bunch of BS from the BMW guy or not. |
Well my dealer said that he was only getting 4 'pre-made' non ordered X5's in November with some in Dec and the rest January.

grr, hope this won't delay my delivery, i am supose to get mine end of nov

Via the 800 # my 4.8 production number reports in production with a estimated completion date of 12/5. I guess early builds = loooong production time. I'm preying that the 1st few weeks of builds don't = lots of production bugs.
Anyone know how long it should take x5 to get to Seattle area and through PDC and to the dealer? My other BMW came across on a boat so not sure what to expect for domestic transit time. Cheers |
