fyi ... An interesting feature in the Canadian brochure [page 11] called "Self levelling rear air suspension" on the 4.8i model that I could not find documented in any of the USA literature to date.

that feature has always been available on 4.4's, at least with sport package here in USA. it is available on the new models as well.

i just still can't understand why they got rid of adjustable height option.

I can't imagine ever using the ride height option....I never used it once on my 4.8. You can't use it at any normal speed so what's the point? It was just a lot of technology for nothing.

Easy there warner ... don't get marcX5 going again ... he's very passionate about the adjustable ride-height feature and we do not need to create another long ping-pong thread :rofl:

Haven't checked on this board lately but now I'm in the market for the new X5.....had an '04 4.8is, reluctantly sold it.
