Why can't I order an X5?
 

Hello all - newbie here. So, I've been trying to order a new X5, and every dealer here in the bay area can't give me a production #. Just smoke & mirrors. Is the production slow or on hold - or am I just not getting a number because they want to sell them at over MSRP? Any ideas?

u cant get a production number until you actually place an order and make a deposit. for me, it took a few days after that. not much of a discount out there...i got $1500 off msrp, and 3 dealers told me to beat it after asking for more than that...

We have available vehicles coming in the next few days,so if someone wants a specific vehicle and we don't have it, first we do a search to make a trade,or if we have to order,we can get production in January,delivery is approximately 5 days after production date.We presold the first 18 vehicles...
