Trailer Hitch on new E70
 

Has anyone had the dealer Trailer Hitch from page 9 of the Accessory Guide. How much did the dealer charge for the install and does the new Bumper Facia Trim Piece really have the white BMW Letters. I have a Yakima Bike Carrier that I would like to use with the new X5 but would like to hear from someone else who may have tried the hitch first.

I think you are looking at the bike carrier picture. The trailer hitch (pic B) on page 9 shows the trim piece. I believe it is just a bezel trim piece, the bumper needs to be cut and the bezel is just to make it neat and tidy. Here is an actual pic of the installed hitch taken at the factory.

can this be a factory installed item?
