BMW and Audi Q7

Ok, I've been checking the Audi Q7 lately and realized that there are quite a few fuctions from the Q7 are very similar to the BMW, not just the X5 but BWM in general. List below are the fuction that I think that Audi has copy it or taking the idea from BWM.

1) iDrive knob
2) The rear manual side-window sunshades
3) panoramic moonroof

What do you guys think?

iDrive, yes it is a BMW first

Sunshade, not sure.

panoramic moonroof, def no. Mercedes has it for long long time already. MB has it for all cars, S, E, C, M.. etc.

Well you can believe BMW is trying its hardest to copy the Quattro system from Audi  (best AWD on the market IMO)

BMW has long been the first to innovate vehicle technologies, and consequently gets a lot of bad press. Then later on, other companies imitate and supposedly "improve" on it so the media doesn't hate it as much.

Yes, iDrive was a BMW thing. Then everyone else started it.
I believe the adaptive xenons was also a BMW-first
Same with Valvetronic (hasn't been imitated)
Styling..........everyone hated the 7-series. Now look at how many look-alikes there are.
6-speed automatic back with the 7-series. Then MB came out with an excellent 7-AT. Now Lexus is playing the numbers game with a mediocre 8-AT.

The list goes on. I don't think sunshades are a BMW-only thing. While I have seen them on 15-year-old 750li's, I've also seen them on MB S-class.

One of my neighbors has an older c.1990? 5 series. There are two built-in shades for the rear. I guess one for each passenger.

I have owned both and they are both great AWD systems no one is better. But drive and handeling of an X5 is way better than a Q7. IMHO!
