Assume you mean the Nurburgring, that being a race track and all. Numerberg is where the war crimes trials were held..... :loco:

I drove a 4.8 with a sport suspension and 20" wheels. I found the ride OK on smooth roads, but quite harsh on unsmooth pavement. Tramlining was a big problem along with a fairly heavy steering feel. On the other hand acceleration was impressive and it rounds a corner like a sports sedan.

I'd like to try one with Adaptive Drive to see if I can get a compliant ride and flat cornering when I'm hot rodding around. I's skip the 20" wheels though.

In November I test drove the 4.8i with 19" and sport suspension. I thought it drove extremely well. I didn't find the sport suspension too firm at all, in fact I wasn't going to get the sport suspension until after the drive, and my test drive was about an hour and we drove nice city streets, highway, back roads, twisty's, etc. It was great everywhere!

Does anyone know whether there is any difference between adaptive drive (in sport mode) and the sport suspension? In terms of handling, which is better or they are pretty much the same? Thanks.

Absolutely correct. It was the closest I could guess from the OP's spelling, however.

you folks are confusing things. if you get the sport package, it comes with the adaptive drive/damping system. if you don't get the sport package you can not get the adaptive drive/damping system.

to the individual who drove the 4.8 with the sport package, you ALSO drove the adaptive drive system, since they come together.
