Cool! I know Patch, been working there for a little over 4 years.

Unfortunately, the car we bought has the standard sound system. Waiting for a custom ordered vehicle would have taken up to 4 months as opposed to 3 weeks for the car we are getting.
What would be the easiest way to upgrade the standard sound system? Is it really that bad? Also, does anyone have a compehensive set of pictures of the RSE system? Thanks |
In the same boat.
I have a new X5 and am REALLY dissapointed in the sound. My previous X5 was better ( although it seems not critically aclaimed here).
Bass not tight, midrange a mess. Any thoughts? HELP !! |

I agree, this worked for me in my MBZ. |
BMW should really learn from Japanese car companies. I have standard system on my X5, since H/K system in my M3 was very bad IMO wasn't worth extra $. However, my current basic X5 sounds better than premium system in M3. I used to have FX35 and it had very nice system I'm not even sure if I paid extra for it.
