nice.

What swung you to jet black instead of sapphire black metallic? (always been curious how people make that choice)

SO i called the dealer to install a changer they tell me they tried on another X5 and couldn;t do it and that they would update me when they had that fixed.

i also find the steering thickness to be nice, however the actual ring is kind of soft not as firm as i would like.

I-drive : what;s funny about the i-drive is that when i finally got use to the one on my dad's 750li , they go and change it , now i have to get use to the on the X.

Msleiman- I have a question. I bought a 2001 Acura MDX right when it came out. I ditched it in 2003 for the X5, because I thought the MDX was way too big for me. I needed a smaller vehicle. I was dissapointed to hear the X is getting longer, but after driving it, I feel a little bit better. Since I am coming from an E53 X5, I kinda forgot how the MDX drove. I really don't want a suv that drives like an MDX. Since you are just leaving one and going to the new X5, how does it compare? Does it feel as large when you are driving, or parallel parking?
Thanks.

I like JET BLACK better than saphire black since it looks alot shiner and DEEPER if i could say than saphire black which doesn;t really have the deep back shine. Instead it looks kinda dusty.

however it;s harder to keep jet black clean all the time...

as for the way it ride comapared to the mdx ............the x5 is alot easier to manuver and park.........the mdx feels more like a van.

but what i mean't is that the x5 suspension felt a bit stiff

Just wondering...

...how many kms have you put on? When you fill up, what km range shows up on your computer? How do you find the power with the 3.0L? Any situations where you wish there was more?

I know that the fuel economy values can vary, especially when breaking in the engine, but I would love to get your insight in this area.

I am about to place an order for an X5, but still tossing up between the 6 or 8 cylinder.

And, the jet black looks amazing. I have a carbon black e46 M3 and I really love that color. But the lustre of a clean jet black bmw is absolutely gorgeous on a sunny day. Beautiful interior!
