BMW Owners Clubs
I just noticed a reference to the BMW CCA. Anyone have experience with this club or recommendations for any others?

Discount on parts/ serious cash back if you buy a new BMW.

Definitely worth it- we get an extra grand back on the new X5, 10-15% discount on parts and their magazine (Roundel) is the best club magazine out there. Membership has paid for itself many times over.
I'm a member of the Porsche club too and their magazine (Panorama) doesn't even come close. However, the Porsche club events do blow away BMW's- our own local chapter does six to eight DEs a year at places ranging from Mid-Ohio to Watkins Glen, plus lots of autox and social events. The local BMW club does two DEs- one of which is at a 1.1 mile training circuit. Not many autox and even fewer social. |
I was in the PCA and am in the BMW CCA. Good parts deals and great magazines.

VERY WORTH THE ENTRY FEE!!!!!
I have saved over $500.00 so far on parts. |
BMWCCA is one of the best clubs out there. I encourage everyone to join and get involved with your local chapter. I have met many good people that have become friends. I also have close relationships with the service managers at both local delarships. All through the Roadrunner chapter

Worth the price of annual admission for the great mag, Roundel.
The local monthly newsletters vary in quality from chapter to chapter. So too, I suspect, do the individual chapter activities and "feel". I've tried my local chap., back in the Mtns a few times, but Xs are like Durangos in terms of interest to that chapters' main mems, and if one didn't have an MCar or at least a hot 3 or 5 series or Z3/4 we were viewed as uninteresting hangers on. Our local was fairly cliquey, but that's simply anecdotal and just my opin. But, worth it to join the National, imo. GL,mD |
Question-
How much per month/year and how big the discount? I haven't paid for the new X yet! |
It is like 40.00 a year with a 10% discount.
|
10% off the car? That doesn't seem right. Is that for parts?
And only 40 bucks per year? I would only join if I get a discount for the purchase of the car. But that seems too low. |
