E70 Mud Flaps

Has anyone installed mudflaps on their 07 X5 or have the install pdf? I'd like to install a set and avoid the minimum $110 per hour dealer fee. I'm hoping this is a DIY like most vehicles.

How did you go on this ? did you get the pdf or just follow the instructions posted on this site ? Thanks !!!

Got the install instructions with the flaps when I ordered them. Took about 30 minutes a set and if you have a angle drill, you don't have to remove the tires.

Sorry, got rid of the instructions after I installed the flaps. Really easy to do. Just make sure you get the correct flaps as there are different ones depending on wheel size and if you have running boards. There's a few holes to drill, and a couple of screws/plastic quick bolts to install. I'll get the camera out and post a picture.

MUDFLAPS, REAR, FRONT AND REAR VIEW

Here's the pics of the mudflaps. Extremely sturdy, match the vehicle perfectly. When you order, make sure to let them know your wheel size and if you have running boards. Good luck and let me know if you need more info. Joe

I just ordered a set from Circle Bmw in Jersey. The set of 4 ran me $99.20 plus $10.00 to ship.

Just make sure you order the correct part numbers. Like someone mentioned before, their are a few different part numbers depending upon you wheel size and if you have running boards.

I don't have the correct tools for the installation unless I take the wheels off. But I'll call my BMW advisor and see how much they will charge for the installation.

I did my fronts without taking the wheels off.. just turn the wheel to full lock depending on which side you are working on... backs were done by dealer prior to delivery .. they might be trickier to get the required clearance..
