Interesting Fine Detail !!!
 

I remember from my first X5 in 2001 that a Sports package would add a silver grill to the area by the front licence plate ( I dont mean the DOUBLE KIDNEY GRILLE...but the grille beneath it !! ) A NON SPORTS PACKAGE LOWER GRILLE WOULD BE BLACK....


Well guess what.....although its a minor detail, the current E70 ALSO HAS THIS FEATURE....might just add a little more to the look....AND ITS NOT THE JUST A LIGHT REFLECTION....confirmed from dealer.

yes...the lower mesh is titanium color with sport, as with the E53

Yes, this looks alot better with the silver mesh.

i think it look sbetter with the black, but would need to see it in person.

for me, the balck just disapears...the silver really stands out.

yea, black looks nice with a light color, and silver looks nice on black, imo
