E70 Pricing in Canada
 

With fully-equiped, it is about 92-93k in terms of msrp.


However, they never seem to compromise the pricing, so what i want to ask youguys is that...:


How much would be the maximum dollars that i could get discounted? any estimate and suggestion??


I was thinking of at least 5k and possibly 8k..


Do I want too much? or is it reasonable?


I reside in Vancouver, BC, Canada. There will be a 17% of luxury tax on top of MSRP.

I would think that you'd be able to achieve close to 5% off the MSRP. So $5k sounds achievable, but $8k is going to be a problem.

3-5% is doable with some negotiating. Anything over that is going to be difficult. One thing to try and do is get them to wave the PDi or reduce it. PDI is $1,895.00 plus add any extra's..stoneguard, tinting into the deal.Good Luck.

I agree with Denalio. The dealer just does not have that much in the vehicle. The days of 10% mark-up on the vehicle and 16% in options are gone. BMW Canada keeps the dealer's margins low, and is in no hurry to increase the number of dealerships. BMW is also insistent upon the level of capital investment by the dealer. Not just the showroom, but also the number of service bays. We are paying for a premium experience, long gone are the days of going to an enthousiast's garage. It is the Lexus treatment today.

I think you will get a discount between 2% and 5%, depending on demand and inventory. Really depends how hungry the dealer is. Don't be surprised if they just don't want to deal at all, due to the reasons quoted above. On the other hand, there are far fewer stories here about dealers who have no interest in aftersales service.

Also, I don't think it is quite right to say 17% luxury tax, it is provincial tax (PST), plus federal tax (GST) plus luxury tax that adds up to that hit.

unless u can find one that is already at the dealer, i dun think 5k is possible at least not right now, the demand is very high, 2-3k is acceptable, these things are flying off dealer's lot in vancouver

what if i deal them with "cash draft" or something? not a cheque or credit card, but direct cash or equivalent??
