Your getting 20% tint all around?

KY
FRONT 35%
REAR 18%
BACK 18%

The fronts can only be 35% :)

Something everyone should also think about too.... The front windows are already slightly tinted. I checked my 2001 X5 and they were around 75%. So if you combine that 75% to your existing tint..... You could go well under your limit.

I will check my front and rear windows tomorrow and post what they are.

Here are tinting policies(per state):

KY:
"Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in."

so does that mean you can have a 65% tint?

Blue Mountain Raider 02-21-2007 09:08 PM

any pics on the "clear bra"? how noticable is it i wonder.

xnsf 02-21-2007 09:10 PM

you can notice it up close staring directly on the seam...but it's basically unnoticable

i wonder...does the part with the clear bra get as dirty as the the part without?

Yes, you can have 65. You can also have 36, 47, 89, 51, and 78.
You can't have 34, 22, 0, 5, 25....etc.. (at least in KY) You can't tint them at all in Illinois.
;) :thumbup:
