Passkey for bluetooth
 

Where can I find the passkey for my 07 X5? It's says to check in the owners manual but for the 06 there's a specific number. Can you just make up a number and just pair it to your phone?

you enter a 4-digit number, and when you connect, your phone will ask for the same 4-digit number :thumbup:

I don't think there's a passkey anymore. I remember when taking delivery I used '0000' as the code so I think that's the default code but not sure if you can change it or not.

Look on pages 189-190 of the 2007 Owner's Manual for the instructions.

You can use any 4 numbers you want.

There is no passkey.

As noted above... you create your own during the process and enter it on your phone during pairing.
