Auto fold side view mirrors?

Is there a way to set the sideview mirrors to automatically fold when the x5 is turned off?

Thanks

yes, just automatically push the button on the dash.

Push the button, I guess. No way to do it fully auto when you turn off ignition.

On older key-equipped BMWs, you could use the convenience close function by inserting the key into the door's keyhole and holding the key in the lock position. Not sure if this is the case with new keyfob BMWs.

If you have equipped your car with BMW Car Key Memory (memory seats etc.) you can have your dealer program this on your key.
Pressing doubling on the "lock" button on the remotekey, the mirrors fold automatically and when I unlock the car, they fold open again.

Thanks...

X5FX... it really wasn't a stupid question considering the extreme number of configuration/preference settings options. If I can set the pathway lighting to any arbitrary number of seconds, other BMWs have this option and MBs it's not a big leap to wonder if this is possible.

Sorry, didnt mean to imply it was a stupid question. Its just that in my opinion, the X5 does not have an "extreme" number of configuration/preference options, and we can use many more. I find the lack of some basic options frustrating.

I notice your location is in Norway. In the US, we do not (and cannot) get the convenience close feature mentioned above activated on the key fob. Back in the days of the good ol' key, you stuck your key in the keyhole and held it in the lock position. Now, with the new key fob operation, it's not as clear.
