Sorry but I missed the meeting, what exactly is an "Angel"?

rooster328 03-05-2007 09:52 PM

the ring in the headlight

X5FX 03-05-2007 09:55 PM

so did yours fail, or is this an upgrade to the factory install?

what is its purpose?

rooster328 03-05-2007 09:58 PM

did u notice how much whiter the ring is compare to the ungly yellow from stock?

X5FX 03-05-2007 10:00 PM

so this is an upgrade...what exactly does the angel do? is it the low beam?

I never really looked at mine.

imaznumkay 03-05-2007 10:18 PM

...angel eyes are just for the looks

trueX5er 03-05-2007 10:24 PM

rooster328 03-05-2007 11:06 PM

So there is no split pin splice into the harness, just a direct replacement bulb? Are you doing the fog lamps as well?

rooster328 03-06-2007 12:54 AM

new pic added, i do not plan on doing fog yet, maybe later

Is it just brighter? The pictures still show them somewhat yellowish. Also, does the inner rings look brighter than the outer ones? Or is that just an illusion of the pictures?

rooster328 03-06-2007 02:38 AM

is a different K from the stock the one. The one i got is 4350K which is suppose to be very close to xenon, but when the xenon is on the angel doesn't not get 100% power , thus it become yellowish.
The inner ring is brighter on the X5, cuz the outer ring is a reflective of the blub in the inner ring, where the inner ring get direct light

Did you get a change to take the night pictures of your angel eyes?
Very interest in getting some brighter and bluer angel eyes later.

Thanks
