JUST GOT MY NEW X5 4.8i sport aero kit 20" black
 

hey..im new to this forum and i have been visting it for some time now.. and i just recieved my x5 black 4.8i aerokit 20" wheel sport package... here are the pics. i cut the pics to resize the images thats why they are bad pics , i will defenately get better pics....

Hi Very nice looking. thats what combo i was ordering but have now put my order on hold for the M Sport package.

can i ask 1 question, why do you not have the flared wheel arches, i thought they cam on all cars spec'd with the 20" wheels ?

Wild ass wheels, those are cool.

I noticed that your rear fenders do not flare outward. I have the 4.8 with the 20" rims and mine flare out.

I know another member that had purchased his with the all season tires but also ordered the 20" rims too.

Did you add the 20" tires afterward?

I ordered the sport package with 19" wheels but want to add the wheel arches. Are they just in the rear or all 4 corners and I assume it's a pretty easy job.

Because as I ordered my X5 with the pack Sport with the wheel of 20" and I was afraid of having no flared arches;)

I love the 20" wheels but I wanted all season tires (don't want to swap wheels and tires for winter) so I stuck with 19's. The arches appear to be just black plastic pieces that probably attach pretty easily or maybe not.

Seems rather easy to install them.

do you have park distance control, since you have aerodynamic kit?

the sensors are there in the picture. the aero kit doesn't obstruct them...
they are the black plastic part that surrounds the wheel well on the body. the flared part means they stick out

So if my order was with sport's package + aerokits, the flared arches will already be part of the package?

no problem. aerokit is dealer installed. flared wheel arches come with 20" wheels in the sports package :thumbup:
