Actual E70 sightings
 

I've only encountered one E70 on the road. :confused: What about everyone else? I thought I'd see alot more. Are they not selling well?

I've now seen a total of 4 on the road. Although, I don't see many E53's either.

The popularity of the E53 has skyrocketed here. When I had my '01 there were very few X5s on the road. In the past 2 years they are everywhere. I do see many more 3.0s than 4.4s. I think I've seen one 4.8.

The E70 I saw was a 3.0

3 or 4. just saw one today. 3.0si outside copley in boston. black on beige i think. i actually hope it doesnt sell well. i dont want to see one around every corner like the E53

Half a dozen here... and I like it that way! Price have anything to do with it?

Besides mine, there are three in my town. They are all Space Grey.

I see one pretty much every day. Saw at least 3 dirty ones over the weekend. I spend too much time on road. :tsk: They are spreading like wild weed. ;)

Saw one in January, none since (except mine) it does get a lot of looks on the road and in parking lots.

I have seen a few. Not really flying of the lots.

I had only seen one until about a week or so ago. I have since seen 4 more. However, every other car on the road in our neighborhood is an E53. I know it's just a matter of time!

I have seen several E70's including a very nice white one and tons of E53's.

There are a couple in Jacksonville...I think I'm the only one with a 4.8i

They are starting to populate the roads around here. Definitely more than a month ago. Probably have seen 10-15 of them around here. I think one of the problems is that they look pretty similar to the E53's and unless you look for them, they can be mistaken for one of ours :)

20 to 30 are on the roads in the St. Louis area. Picking up quite a bit.

Only seen 2-3 in northern part of chicago. Numbers indicate it is doing well though:

I have seen two driving around town in my area, in my little town outside of Madison there are a half dozen e53's but all of them are driven by women. All of them are pre-facelift models. The X's I mean. Theres one just down the street from me who was a Florida transplant. She had Florida plates on her X all last summer but has changed to Wis. plates since. Why anyone would move from Florida to Wisconsin is beyond me. Unless you are doing it for the better public schools.

Saw three gray ones, one silver, and there is a black one I sometimes see parked on the street on my way to the gym.

Okay, back in December 2006/Jan 2007, I already saw 3 E70 X5s in NJ. One on the Garden State Parkway on 12/31/2006, one in East Hanover, and one in Morris County. All within 3 days of each other....

When I got back to my homestead, I have seen more then a couple dozen on the road and in Costco parking lots! :)

They are getting common out here.

I remember when we first got our E53 X5 back in early 2001, I thought it was going to be a rare sight, but within a couple months of ownership, the X5 was quite commonplace in L.A. and especially our color combo, TiAg/Black.

Being in our area, the car capital of the country, you'll probably have a better chance seen all types of cars then anywhere else.

I saw a total of 1, and that had Jersey tags on it. I'm going to the dealer Fri. to get my 330 inspected, while I'm there I am going to take one for a ride and see some numbers

I've seen 6-7 in the DC area, half of them 4.8. Saw a beige one parked 2 days ago.

Seen only 3 in Cincinnati. Driving to DC next month. I hope to see more then.

I've seen maybe 5 or 6 total. All with Massachusetts registrations, no NH ones yet!

Other than the one at the dealership I've seen only three in DC (Maryland) suburbs. E53s are everywhere though.

:wavey: Glad to see someone else from the area! I'm sure there are more people on here from our area but I haven't seen any. I expected tons with the number of E53s here!

I've only seen about 5 E70s and at least one was a dealer's. Have you seen a black sapphire one yet? That's us! :thumbup:

I've seen a few, and they're slowly gaining popularity here. Most of them are Space Gray or black though........kinda bland :yawn:

3 in ME (not at dealer)
2 in the middle of nowhere no less.
okay, one's on a display at Sugarloaf, but there was a blue one at a restaurant in the Valley.
Other one near Portland where I live.
Saw about 30 in real life back in August at the Perf. Center though :p
