I finally did it! I placed the order a couple weeks back for an X5 to replace my wife's 03 Honda Pilot.

I've had my production number for about 10 days now, but BMW Owners Circle order tracking still just says "on order". Any other tool that will give more insight? I'm obviously a bit anxious to get my new ride!

I think the dealer gives you the most up-to-date info. Owner's circle is known for being behind. As a requisite for this site, you must post up pictures of your new ride within 7 days or 100 miles of delivery, whichever occurs first. (jk)

I have checked the status of my order multiple times per day since the day I ordered it... the most accurate has been calling the 800# (even though they were a week off my production completion date). You'll soon memorize the 800 # and your production #... the waiting kills but should be worth it!
