First Issue
 

Appears my driver side heated seat has decided to call in for early retirement. When turned on, the seats heat up for about 1 - 3 minutes and then nothing. The light on the center console stays on and iDrive indicates three bars of heat. I've tried every combination of seat/backrest distribution, intensity setting, and venting without result. It's about time for an oil change anyhow to flush out anything the break in left behind.

Almost 1,500 miles.

so are you really changing the oil at 1500?

My brother is bugging me to get rid of the "break-in oil"

I'm not the car guy in the family so I figure his advice is better than my ignorance. Due to the new job, the new X5 is a garage queen that spend 5 - 6 days a week in a nice underground parking spot.
