Is this a good deal on 4.8 lease?

Friend of mine just leased a 2007 4.8 with MSRP $74,500 for $1188 per month (tax included). Drive off $2500. 15K miles per year. free I-Pod adapter. 3 year lease term. don't know the residual. S. California dealer. He didn't ordered the car, pick it up when sales call him.

Good or O.K deal???

Seems like a pretty good or very good deal to me (relative to what's out there). Mine has MSRP of 73,720 and I'm getting 2500 off MSRP, lease price of about $1080 for 30 months, 15k miles/year paying taxes up-front. From what I've heard/read, 2500 is about 1000 - 1500or so more than most dealers are doing. I think I read one guy on here got 3500 off but I think he worked for BMW or had a family member or friend at the dealership.. I had a "friend-of-a-friend" kind of thing to get the 2500 off, otherwise best I got was 1500 off, having talked to 4 different dealers (one of which I have bought from in the past).
