Black Sapphire or Jet Black?

Hi Everyone,
I just placed my order on Saturday for the 3.0si. with premium, activity package, and parking sensor. Unfortunately it will go into production later this month and won't be ready untill July.

Anyway, I was orginally going to order it in Jet black, however the salesman convince me for the longterm, I was better off going with the sapphire black. I'm still double guessing myself now, I believe I can still change my mind, if I call on Monday.

What do you guys out there think, What colour would like better???

It's a tough choice. If your car is washed often, and not usually dirty, then definately go for Jet Black. If your car tends to be always slightly dirty, and maybe not washed as often, go for Sapphire Black. You can't tell it's as dirty.
But that said, I think Jet Black looks better than Sapphire when clean.
:goodluck:

I have Black Sapphire and it looks like it has diamonds in the paint when she's all cleaned up. I'm Still amazed at the way it looks.

The jet black is an extremely nice color, but hard to keep it clean. I have a jet black color on my E70, and I love it.

Sapphire Black. Jet black works better on the 3 and 5-series.

Swirl marks are less noticeable on Sapphire Black. So, unless you prefer to detailed your X with all your spare time, Sapphire Black would be the better choice.

I've had both in the past 4 years and prefer Jet Black.

Metallic colors always fetch more at resale. Jet black looks good for those few moments after you detail...then it's back to dirty.

Jet Black

black saphire, sparkles in the sunlight

Thanks everybody for your inputs.
After reading everyones responses, I've decided to not make any changes and stay with the black sapphire. Btw, my '99 E46 is Jet Black so I can't complain.

Thanks again,
QJody
