Hidden GPS menu

I don't know if someone has already post it here :

The iDrive on the E70 has at least two hidden menus. It works with our europen version, i don't know if it works with the US version.

The first one, iDrive service menu :

At the main screen

Push the I Drive during 10 sec.
then turn it 3 clics to the right
3 clicx to the left
1 clics to the right
1 clics to the left
1 clics to the right
then push it aigain

You will get this.

I don't know if these numbers can have an importance for us.

The second one : Gps Menu :

3x left
1x right

I can get the first hidden menu...I have no idea what it means though.

Regarding second hidden menu, can you please be more specific. Where did you start, inside the 1st hidden menu, at the main screen or in the Nav screen?
what do you mean "push the idrive up and right together? Do you mean at an angle (1 oclock) or twist right and push up?

You must start in the nav screen and select the position like the photo ("map, car direction")

And then, push the iDrive in the angle at 1 oclock.

And then continue like the description

I hope that this can help

That looks like hardware and software versions might be accessible as well as other interesting info.

Here the english version from the screen you must start to go to the hidden GPS menu

The principal interest of this hidden menu is to show the speed, calculated by the GPS.

I'm trying to get into the iDrive service menu so I can (hopefully) set the Radio to European tuning standard (0.1 MHz step rather than the 0.2 MHz tuning step used in the USA). If I press the iDrive knob for 10 seconds then all it does is that it goes to the next menu but it doesn't seem to get me anywhere! Am i missing something? what key position should is needed to get to this menu? HELP!
