BlueTooth Passkey? Where?
i'm trying to pair my phone to the car, and my phone is asking for a vehicle passkey, where can i find it?
|
you try 0000, or 0001, 1234, or 1111?
most bluetooth have a simple pass key like this. |
it should come with your owner's manuals.....with the e53, it was on a card located with your bluetooth owner's manual.
|
Look inside the front cover of your vehicle manual or the phone manual. We had a little sticker with the number key inside the cover....
|
The passkey is a label on the TCU unit.
You will is a four digit number PK= XXXX, It normally where your GSP or CD changer is. Hope this helps. |
your passkey should be a set of 4 numbers you choose. when you connect your phone, yourr phone will ask for that same passkey
|
Yes, there is not a preset passkey...your phone should allow you to create a 4 digit passcode, then you enter that in the Idrive when it asks for it.
